James W. McNeilly Jr., admitted to the Wisconsin bar in 1981, earned a bachelor's degree in Social Work, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin. He practices in all state courts in Wisconsin and is also admitted to practice in federal courts in Wisconsin. James W. McNeilly, Jr has been a member of the United States Chapter 7 Trustee Panel for the Western District of Wisconsin since 1987, and served as a Court Commissioner for La Crosse County Judge Ramona A. Gonzalez from 1995 to 2007. He has taught business law to bachelor's and master's level students. James W. McNeilly, Jr has presented at continuing state and national legal education seminars and has authored articles on bankruptcy and business law topics. James W. McNeilly, Jr has operated businesses as a court appointed receiver and as a trustee.
